Rector’s Letter for 9/27

Rector’s Letter for 9/27

Dear Redeemer family,

Yesterday’s worship service gave me profound encouragement as we all worshiped together in one service. That was the largest gathering of Redeemer members in over a year, and it moved me to tears hearing 150 of your voices praying and singing in unison.
If you missed attending yesterday, I encourage you to check out the whole service and the congregational meeting.
I am incredibly thankful for the partnership of Redeemer’s clergy, ministry team, Vestry and lay leaders. Special thanks to retiring vestry members Bill Archer and Kenny Higginbotham, and welcome to newly elected members Wes Bowling and Thomas Berger. I am truly blessed to be your Rector as we move forward together in mission and ministry.
I look forward to seeing you this week, as we will meet together daily for morning prayer at 8:30 AM (Facebook Live), on Wednesday evening for evening prayer at 6:30 PM (in-person and Zoom), and then again next Sunday morning for worship and adult discipleship.

Fr. Bill
