
Jeanne Higgins
Jeanne Higgins grew up in Sarasota, Florida, graduated from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, and moved with her young family to Jacksonville in 1994. She came to faith a year later through the ministry and preaching of Redeemer. Married to Elvis, they have 3 adult sons. She served in numerous areas of ministries over the years at Redeemer including prayer, small groups, LEM, and Sunday school teaching. As Director of Adult Discipleship from 2003-2010, Jeanne led small groups during a time of rapid growth and co-led adult education. She graduated from seminary in 2010 from Gordon-Conwell where she then ministered on staff until 2019. Jeanne now serves as a chaplain for Community Hospice. Ordained as a vocational deacon in 2019, Jeanne is thrilled to serve at her home parish.
