World Relief Jacksonville

World Relief’s mission is to empower the local Church to serve the most vulnerable. The Jacksonville office’s story began with a simple phone call to a pastor’s wife that has led to more than 20 years of love, service and memories. That story continues today. Click here to learn more.

World Relief Jacksonville serves two vulnerable people groups in our city: refugees and victims of human trafficking, while also advocating for comprehensive immigration reform. They partner with over 90 local churches on the First Coast, including Redeemer, and have over 200 active volunteers.

Redeemer’s most significant involvement in the past few years has included hosting a Harvest Festival each November, inviting hundreds inviting hundreds of local refugee families to come for food and games as well as distribution of winter clothing donated by our congregration. We have also greeted newly arrived refugees at the airport, helped to furnish apartments, and come alongside a family from Afghanistan to help them settle into their new life here.
