Advent Resource Kits
On Sunday Bill shared a wonderful resource for Advent that is especially suitable for families with children ages 7 to 13: the Jotham books. Sheila DelCharco has written a curriculum complete with fun crafts and recipes that will enrich your Advent season. The kit comes with the book as well as the supplies that you will need to complete the crafts. There are some additional bonus crafts that do not include the materials but are easy enough to find. The Jotham kit includes a list of library picture books for additional read-aloud fun. The Tabitha kit utilizes two Christmas-themed chapter books that can be read aloud in addition to the Tabitha book.
