Dear Redeemer Family:
I am very excited about our journey together into Psalm 23. This past Sunday was my first of 4 sermons on Psalm 23, and today is Day-2 of our 23 day devotional study “When the Lord is My Shepherd.” If you are a member of Redeemer, you should have received a copy of the devotional book in the mail. If you did not receive your copy, click here to download a pdf-copy of the book from Redeemer’s website, and then email Shirley Combs at Shirley.email@example.com so she can send a copy to you right away.
Wednesday Evenings during our 6:30 Zoom Gathering, we will be further discussing what we are learning during our Psalm 23 journey. You can join the conversation in two ways: either click the link to our Zoom gatherings on our website, or meet in-person at Redeemer on Wed evening. Since some of our RSM Students will be meeting in-person at Redeemer starting this Wed, I will be at the Church hosting the Zoom gathering from there. Whether on Zoom or in-person, we will be gathered together. PLEASE NOTE: Food will NOT be served at Redeemer on Wed Evenings, but you are welcome to BYO-Dinner if you desire.
Staying connected with one another is particularly important in this season. I encourage all of you to be connected to a Redeemer small group because small groups facilitate in-depth study, friendship, discipleship, and pastoral care. We will be beginning a church-wide study on the Holy Spirit on October 4 which I’m looking forward to doing together. If you are not currently in a Redeemer small group, I encourage you to join one for this study and hopefully beyond. By the end of the week, there will be a list on the Adult Discipleship page of our website listing all groups with their meeting times and leader contact information. Look for more information in the coming weeks.
Also remember that I and my pastoral team are ready and willing to come to you for a visit or to bring communion. Email Shirley to schedule an appointment.
In the service of our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ,
