Maundy Thursday Service

During the Last Supper Jesus gave a new commandment to love one another.  The word Maundy comes from the Latin word for commandment.  The service focuses on this last meal or Passover Seder that Jesus ate with his disciples.
We will walk through an instructed Seder as part of the service before we celebrate Communion together.  The service ends with the stripping of the altar.  This is a family friendly service on Thursday evening at 7 pm.  There is no childcare.

Good Friday Traditional Service and Tenebrae Evening Service

Join us Friday, April 2nd, for our Good Friday services. We will have a traditional Good Friday service at noon (12:00 pm) and a service of Tenebrae in the evening.
The Tenebrae service on Good Friday evening will take us from light to the darkness of Jesus’ death on the cross utilizing scriptures from the Old and New Testaments and weaving them with hymns, anthems, and prayers for the lost and the Church.
We’ll be drawn to reflect deeply on Christ’s journey to the cross and the implications, consequences, purposes, and accomplishments of his sacrifice for us. Join us in these contemplations in person or via Facebook Live on Friday at noon for our traditional service or on Friday evening at 7 p.m. for our service on Tenebrae.
