2016 Stations of the Cross Went Out Into the Community

This year Redeemer's Stations of the cross traveled outside the four walls of our church. Although we did have 12 Stations setup in the chapel during Holy Week, we also be hosted two different art exhibitions in the downtown and Riverside community. Volunteers joined us to set up the stations at Vagabond Coffee and at Art Walk downtown, and they came to both events ready to engage the viewers in conversation. It was a dynamic experience for everyone who participated.

We used artwork provided for just such a venue by artist Scott Erickson. Click here to learn more about this exciting project.

2013 Stations of the Cross

In response to feedback from last year, our viewing hours for the Stations of the Cross have been extended throughout Holy Week. The Stations will be open Monday through Thursday from 4-6:30 p.m. There will also be viewing on Good Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Members of Redeemer have constructed 14 stations depicting the path Jesus is believed to have followed on the way to the cross as based on scripture.  We hope you will join us to prayerfully contemplate the great sacrifice Christ made for us.
