Promiseland News -- One of the main reasons that we selected the FaithWeaver curriculum for use in our primary classrooms was that it is very developmentally appropriate. Our gifted teachers plan and prepare carefully for each lesson based on the characteristics that they can expect for their age groups. We are asking that parents help by making sure that their child is in the appropriate class.
· Infants through those children who have not yet turned 3 by September 1 are in our Nursery Program which meets in the smaller nursery on the right hand side as you enter the education wing.
· Children who are 3 by September 1 through children who are 5 but have not yet entered Kindergarten are in the Preschool Program. This class meets in the large nursery room at the end of the hall in the education wing.
· Children in Kindergarten and First Grade are in our K-1st Program and meet in the first room on the left in the education wing.
We ask that your children remain in the same program for the calendar year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Prudence Baldwin, rfbald@bellsouth.net.
Kids Klub (ages 5 through 5th grade) meets Wednesdays at 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in The Warehouse. Dinner is provided from 6:00-6:30 p.m. We begin by acting out the same Bible story they heard Sunday and then do crafts, play games and enjoy a snack to reinforce the Bible truth.
