Warehouse Garage Sale

We will be holding a garage sale Saturday, February 27, from 7:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. in the Warehouse to support the work of the Anglican Church in Uganda and to send Susan Morris out into the Mission Field. Please tell all of your friends!

Susan Morris is preparing to go to Uganda to serve as Coordinator for Partnership Services within the Church of Uganda’s Office of International Relations. In this capacity, she will work to create and facilitate effective ministry partnerships between churches in Uganda and the United States. Such partnerships build up and encourage everyone involved, and provide us with the opportunity to learn from our brothers and sisters in Uganda who are seeing the Gospel move in power in that area of the world.   In additional partnership services, Susan will also be assisting within Global Mobilization Ministries (GMM), a ministry headed up by the Rev. Canon Dr. Alison Barfoot. The mission of GMM is focused on equipping and supporting local evangelists as they bring the Gospel to unreached people in East Africa. This ministry not only takes the Gospel to the unreached, but also plants churches and continues the relationship with those who meet the risen Lord, discipling them and building them up in their new lives in Christ Jesus.
 
Right now Susan needs partners who will pray for her as she prepare for and then enters into her work with the Church of Uganda. She also needs partners who are willing to contribute financially to this work. To be fully funded for this work in Uganda Susan needs to raise $36,200 per year. She must also have $22,500 cash in her SAMS missions account before she will be certified to leave.
