Israel Trip 2012 - A Change of Plans with

New Dates and New Leaders

After prayerful consideration, The Rev. Bill and Kim Driscoll have decided that, for a variety of reasons, they will not be able to lead an Israel trip this June as planned. In his place, Bill has encouraged Neil to lead.  Further evaluation has led to a change of dates: Neil will co-lead a trip already planned for May 26 to June 5, along with the Rev. Shawn Porter. Shawn is the rector of Calvary Anglican Church and former assistant rector at Redeemer, known and loved by many here.

The new trip is very similar to the previous Driscoll trip. It should be somewhat less expensive than the original because it is slightly shorter. Brochures will be available in the parish hall, by mail, or you can download a PDF by clicking here.

HondurasTrip

Church of the Redeemer is organizing a summer mission work team to La Esperanza de Jesus, a home for orphaned and abandoned children in Honduras. The team will leave Jacksonville on July 21 and return on July 28, 2012.  If you are interested in being part of this team, please send an email to Tracy Pierce at tracyapierce@comcast.net.
