Men's Bible Study - Understanding, interpreting and applying the Bible is what we aim for in Redeemer’s Men’s Bible Study Thursdays, 7:00-7:45 a.m. in the parish hall. We enjoy breakfast, wrestle with the Bible passages for the following Sunday, pray briefly in small groups, and then head out to face the day. Your participation will be a blessing to others. Women’s Bible Study – After a very long recess, we have resumed and are meeting the first and third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Our next meeting will be May 15. Girls only Study... "James: Mercy Triumphs" – Through May 30th, Kim Driscoll will be leading a "Girls Only" study using Beth Moore's new curriculum and DVD teaching. We will be inspired to put our faith into action in practical ways as we get to know both the man and his letter. We will be meeting on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00p.m. through May 30. The church has a limited number of workbooks ($15) or you can pick one up at the Christian bookstore of your choice.
Through May 30th, Rick Wallis will be leading a “Guys Only” discussion based on John’s Eldridge’s book, Waking the Dead. This is a balanced and Biblical look at how we live as followers of Jesus. We’ll be meeting on Wednesday through May 30, at Redeemer. Dinner is at 6:00 with discussion 6:30-8:00. Come to as many or as few of the weekly meetings as you want!
Open Prayer – Beginning Wednesday, April 18, Redeemer will offer open prayer the first and third Wednesday of each
month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the months of April, May and June. Trained prayer ministers will be available here at the church to pray with you over any concerns you may have. Contact Rick Wallis with any questions at 891-0228.
Christ and Culture Dinner - "Postmodernism" will be the subject of our next Christ and Culture dinner on Thursday,
May 17th at 6:30pm at Church of the Redeemer. We will welcome The Rev. Dr. Peter C.Moore, former Dean and
President of Trinity School for Ministry in Pittsburgh and founder of FOCUS, to discuss this important cultural
influence and how we can to respond to it as Christians. Please sign up in the parish hall this week.

Life Together 101 - Please join us on Wednesday, June 6, 6:30-8:00 p.m., for a more in-depth introduction to Church of the Redeemer. This is a must for newcomers, but anyone interested is encouraged to attend. Explore with The Rev. Bill Driscoll what we believe and how we do life together as a community of believers. Youth Sunday, May 20th– Are you graduating this year, or do you know someone who is? We would love to honor anyone graduating from high school, college, or grad school on Youth Sunday, May 20th during the 10:30 service. If you would like your child to be honored please send their full name and graduating school to Kim Counts in the church office kimberlycounts@gmail.com by May 15th. The youth will also be leading many parts of the service that day as readers, ushers, greeters, acolytes, chalice bearers, musicians, and even giving the sermon.
