Camp Araminta - is a diocesan summer camp for children and youth held at Lake Swan Camp in Melrose, FL from July 17-22, 2017. Camp Araminta is for rising 4th-12th graders who want to have fun while growing closer to God. High school and college students can also attend as leaders and counselors. There is also a separate camp for high school campers. The cost is $405 for the first child and $370 for each additional child for campers, $305 for leaders, and free forcounselors. Registration for campers is open now at ending July 10.

Presentation of Assessment Results – On Sunday the 25th, Craig Brown will be presenting the results of the Congregational Assessment. Some results will be presented during the services, with elaboration during Adult Discipleship Hour. Join us to learn about the next steps we will be taking.

Orientation for Listening Groups and Next Steps in the Jehoshaphat Process – Sunday, July 16, following the service, we will meet from 11:15-12:45 to discuss our next steps moving forward. Redeemer will provide a light lunch of soup, salad and bread. Additional food contributions are welcome and love offerings will be accepted to help with costs. There will be activities for the kids and Nursery during the meeting.

Let’s Get Excited About Vacation Bible School & Vacationing by Serving – This year’s Vacation Bible School will once again be modeling Christ’s love in action by doing service projects in our community and “loving our city.” These opportunities are intended to be for everyone ages 3 to 93. Activities will take place the week of July 24-28. So far we are planning parish wide collections for World Relief Welcome Kits and Hubbard House backpacks (see insert for items we are collecting.) Monday and Wednesday are still undetermined.

Thursday afternoon - Catholic Charities to bag groceries
Thursday evening - dinner & stuff welcome kits and backpacks
Friday morning - City Rescue Mission to cook & serve lunch.
